For all the money they’re putting into promoting this I don’t understand how it looks so… cheap? It looks like a Netflix sci fi series that would be abandoned after season 2.

the bit with the snake is good, girlfriend definitely has the presence. Costumes are meh though, i wish hers looked a bit rougher and dirtier?? there was suuuuch an emphasis on worn out clothing and poverty generally in the book
