#HarryPotter stunt double, David Holmes, was paralyzed after a set accident on "Deathly Hallows Part 1." Now the duo have reunited to tell Holmes' life story in the documentary "The Boy Who Lived," airing this November.

(ETA: just reread it, it was Dan that was 11 and this man was teen. I guess if he was 18+ his parent couldn’t stop him. So my bad, parents!)

David is 42 now, so he is about 7 or 8 years older than Daniel. So, David was 18 or 19 when he started working on the first film, and 27 or 28 at the time of the accident.
I absolutely agree that children should never be stunt doubles. I hope it is the case everywhere.

Anyway, There are several crew members who work there who had worked on the films right from Day 1. They had nothing but good things to say about Dan and his parents.

I wonder how much Radcliffe had to keep his mouth shut because he was a child on set. I remember him saying "What in the world is that okay?" stuff back in 2016 but then again, he's been consistently vocal about good stuff since then.
