I will never not love that my sister and her best friend were in the theater for this and her friend said 'when do you think the ship will hit the ice berg?' and a girl in the row in front got so angry and yelled at them all 'you just ruined the movie for me!!!!' And they were both like 'ma'am this is a historical event'

Not the same but reminds me of in high school when my friend and I were the first in psych class so we were talking to our teacher what we did over the weekend and she said we saw Passion of the Christ (don’t judge! I just went because everyone else was going 😫, lapsed Catholic but never stopped being a follower!) and our teacher goes “I love the book it’s based on” and she goes (you could tell she was confused but wanted to impress him, he was cute) “oh yeah, me too!” And he goes “really? You loved the Bible?” in such a Nick Miller way before Nick Miller was a thing.
