Not sure how I feel about them aging down the Black couple so much, I think them being seniors added to their character's vulnerability and highlighted how ridiculous it was for the white couple to mistrust them so much.

But at least the show won't have any of the borderline pedophilic descriptions of the young daughter's pubic region so it's going to be better than the book by default. It pisses me off that this book gets so much hype considering how creepy and misogynistic the writing is.

OH, I didn't even clock the age difference in the trailer 😂 In the book the owners of the vacation home are a retired Black couple.
