i'm excited to see his standup this winter. i saw him a few years ago and i loved it.

i saw him for New Years last/this year, and it was awesome! it was hilarious ofc, but also really insightful (which I guess shouldn't have been a surprise). he did a whole thing tracing the reputation of british food for being bland back to the rationing during/after WW2, and I guess it's the sort of thing that once you think about it, it makes perfect sense, but actually hearing it laid out blew my mind.
