Happy spooky season! I really wanted to make a post about some of my favorite women directed horror films that I feel are underrated. Most people are aware of Jennifer's Body, The Babadook, and Raw so I wanted to highlight some lesser known women directed horror films.

Near Dark is one of my all-time faves and I feel like it's such an underrated vampire movie.

Lol I had a feeling this post was gonna go up just as I heading to bed. I'm really happy and proud of this post. It was so hard to narrow down to just 12 films. Maybe I'll make a part 2 at some point.

I watched it after getting completely baked with friends one night and the hillbilly horror music creeped me out. Also cannibals.
