No matter how they set it up people are going to stand up early at the gate, block the way, and just in general hinder the best efforts of the airline staff to get the plane to actually leave as quickly as possible.

if you don't have to put anything overhead i do NOT understand why people fight to go sit in a cramped space where you will be sitting in a cramped space for hours. i'm always like last on lmao

i won't cut but being in the back of the line to board on a full flight so often results in me having to check my bag because there's no bin space

yeah i almost always just have one bag to slip under and try to be the last on board so i can just slip through and also scope the plane to find a closer seat and/or empty aisle to sit at because you know it won't be occupied so why not
