i went to see a rerelease of the first movie the other night and am now very excited for the prequel.

i got into the hunger games as a full blown adult in my 30s lol i was too old when they first came out. but i am now deep in it

Her ragging on the original Snow White and it not being progressive etc and how they needed to change it wasn't really a good look. Snow White came out 1937 of course it isn't going to be the shining of example of progress, it's 1937.

And Gone With the Wind was 2 years later, but we still call that out for being racist! We can still acknowledge those movies as innovative products of their time, but a 2020s version of Snow White should be changed. Not nearly a good enough reason imo

I totally get what you are saying and totally agree on changing the story. The interviews Rachel were giving were really giving off a disrespectful vibe of the original, which you should at least have some respect because whether you like the story now in the eyes of the 2020s, you should at least respect how innovative Snow White was for animation films and Disney, who in her case is hired her for their new version. I don't hate her, but I can see how the internet might not like it.
