I've been waiting for another post about this movie to share this! I went to a Halloween event and there was someone dressed up in a homemade Lucy Gray Baird costume. I didn't realize it at first, I just thought, "Huh that skirt looks so much like the one they have Lucy in for the Games that's kinda neat" and then I saw her again and I realized she'd done a screenprinting of the Lucy top and it all clicked together. I wish I'd stopped her to say I recognized her costume but ah well.

I cannot wait for the music of this film. Zegler's voice at the end is angelic. The full song is apparently dropping tomorrow!

I just finished reading the book last night, because I really enjoyed the Hunger Games trilogy, but I absolutely hated it.

Imo, Snow is horribly written. He's a terribly bad character that the author tries and fails to make relatable by trying to rationalize his thoughts and actions when he's just a psychopath.

Lucy Gray is the second main character and yet, she's barely there and barely have a personality.

Ugh, I'm still mad.

I can’t wait for this I even finally bought the book. I’m so excited for the music. And it just seems sooooo book accurate. I don’t think I’ve recognized every scene in a trailer before!
