From everything I found, it looks like it teaches you how to study IE: retain information and improve your concentration. Hubbard says there are 3 barriers to learning and goes over them.

I went to Wikipedia to get an idea of Study Tech and… let’s just say that it isn’t much of a curriculum. It seems like a lot of clay is involved? I can see why more ~enlightened parents would be attracted to it, though.

The whole yawning = lack of understanding cracks me the fuck up, though.
