lol, this is not the same of the other things, like at all. JLaw slipped while walking up the stairs, something anyone can do, whereas these other people made a choice.

That was my first thought, but this is just a response from someone who has pretty bad anxiety so it makes sense. Sometimes I’ll replay the silliest thing in my head as if anyone who was around to see it remembered it five mins later.

Just curious - do you overprepare for things because of your anxiety? I used to have backup plans for my backup plans because I needed to be ready in case everything went sideways. I was less afraid of something going wrong than someone judging me for something going wrong.

Anything lmao. My anxiety is so high, I could never be in the public eye. I refused to even get my senior picture taken for the yearbook because I knew I'd cringe looking at it.

My senior yearbook picture was awful.

It was summer, lo so many years ago, in 1996. I woke up that day, full of undeserved hope. I got ready to take the pic and, uncharacteristically, I was having a great hair day. I am extremely shy and completely not photogenic so Lord knows what gave me the confidence, but I thought, “Finally. After all these years, I’m going to take a good yearbook pic”.

Well, at our school, senior pics were taken one day during the summer. My mom didn’t drive, my dad did but he had to be at work by 7am and the photos weren’t until noon. I only lived less than a mile from the school so my mom said we’d walk there together.

Long story short, I got there, thinking I still looked good but my head had sweated, my hairspray had wilted and there I am smiling confidently like I was just crowned prom queen or something. So cringe, lol

It was an extremely nasty pap shot. She was in a limo with Paris and someone else and they got a shot right up her skirt. :( Most places were decent enough not to run the pictures but of course outlets like The Superficial ran with them.
