It takes regular people about 10 yrs to become an astronaut, so I always thought it was nuts that we were gonna blast some dude with a couple months of training off to the ISS just bc he's famous.

You bring up a great point about getting the glasses, OP. Like what good is releasing a safety video about proper equipment two days before the eclipse??

Guess I’m gonna be trying to find at least one pair I know I kept from the 2017 eclipse, guess we can all share them😵‍💫
