I have watched season 1 so many times when I needed something to pull me out of a depression, and Season 2 is doing a great job of helping me fight off the oncoming seasonal depression. I love everything about this show and I always sit here with a dumb happy smile on my face while I watch it. I know it may not be a show for everyone, but my God is it for me.

I'm watching the episodes on an lgbtq bar/rec center in which a couple of people are organizing screenings for it every Thursday. It's really fun bc it's full if queer people screaming at crying at the show lol. Avoiding spoilers all day is a motherfucker, but at night we fangirl like crazy.

Stede was READY to fuck Ed under the moonlight lmao

The toxicity of Anne Bonny and Mary Read was really hard to watch, with them wanting to pull Ed and Stede down with them so they could feel better about themselves again... Also the next episode (or was it the next one? It kinda merged together) about their collective trauma and Lucious really struggling with the crew accepting Ed back on the ship. Idk, I guess it all kinda hit close to home.
I'm very glad that it's a show where things get resolved and characters go through some actual developement and growth.
