I could understand if Kanye helped introduce his fans to Paul’s music, but it’s a bit of a stretch to say Kanye made Paul famous again.
Reminds me of back in the early 90’s, Guns N’ Roses did a cover of Live and Let Die, which was pretty popular. Paul had to tell members of his own family that he wrote the song, not GnR. Same thing happened when Puffy used a sample of Led Zepplin’s Kashmir, one of the Led Zepplin guys had to tell his kids that was one of his songs.
