In the new episode of The Boys spin-off a character named Tek Knight is using Johnny Depp’s name as a way to describe blaming an innocent person for a crime they didn't do and destroying their life: "I'm gonna Johnny Depp someone so hard they're gonna want to crawl into a hole and die."

It doesn't make up for the hell that the world put Amber through, but I am glad to see that it didn't ultimately help Depp's reputation in any way.

I love this. Nothing will ever undo the way she was treated and the trauma she has to deal with, but I hope the tide keeps turning again Depp.

Surprised and pleased to see an Eric Kripke show have an excellent take on DARVO, especially one that's a spinoff of a Garth Ennis property. Wikipedia tells me the episode was written by Jessica Chou, so blessings to this person at the very least!

I do wonder if Seth Rogen being a producer has an impact, he follows Amber on insta and worked with her on Pineapple Express
