I wonder if for these types of dance, being a woman allows you more freedom and are more visually impressive/pleasing ? I don't know if it's the twirls or the dresses but the focus is more easily on them than men lol Not that it put them at an advantage, but it maybe feels a bit more boring to look at the male celebs.

I think the men have a harder job than the women because though they're the amateur they have to lead.

that's interesting because i've always felt the men have it so much easier. They don't have to wear HEELS, and so many of their moves seem to be filler of them just holding up/onto or swinging their female partner around while she does all the work. And then like a 5 second sequence of them trying to shake their hips as they jiggle their shoulders a bit.

This is the first season I've ever watched and I'm rooting for Barry and Xochtil. I thought Barry really deserved a higher score and Tyson deserved lower. Jamie Lynn just seemed super low energy and was just generally pretty bad. Also, Mira Sorvino seems sad or something so I voted for her.

Jamie Lynn's vibe all night was off. She didn't clap for the other pairs. She thought she deserved better scores lmao. She got what she wanted!

As much as I have zero love for Jamie Lynn, I'm not sure why everybody thinks it's soooo funny she's a worse dancer than Britney. Brit's been a pro dancer since she was tiny and JL hasn't, what else did people expect lol
