I'll be 38 in January and I've yet to get anything done, not even botox or anything like that (needles freak me out and the idea of having something injected into my face and just having it in there??? eek)

just skincare for now but who knows what my 40's and 50's will bring lol

Botox really isn't that bad on the pain scale. It hurts less than a piercing and I've never bled for more than a few minutes from it. And even then no more so than popping a tiny zit

oh pain doesn’t bother me it’s just the idea of it all. I’m really squeamish when it comes to needles, blood, surgery, etc. I don’t like anything reminding me I’m humany on the inside 👁️👄👁️

I hit 42 on Saturday. In my 30's I was ok and didn't ever feel the pressure to get anything done. But now I look in the mirror (still haven't touched my face) and it's getting harder not to feel like I really "need to do something" soon to start turning back the clock. Something about the 40's idk - it hit fast. I'm standing strong for now but the pressure is creeping in.

Secretary and Treasurer of the Plumped,Tox'd and Altered Girlies of ONTD here to let yall know that a facelift if just the lower third of your face. If you want a brow lift, that is separate surgery. Also, usually it is a good idea to also get a neck lift. So, and I'm talking actually sagging skin, we are at 3 surgeries not just one. Of course you can get it all done at once but you will be billed for each area.

Also, lifts in your 30s and 40s are becoming more of a thing. That is more about changing the face shape than addressing actual sagging skin.

Last thing, when you tug you face upward in the mirror and think about a facelift, that actually is wrong. You wanna tug the lower half of your face more outward as opposed to upward.

I have not but I'd like a nose job, although in general, I'd prefer more dermatologist treatments than surgeries
