Police perform wellness check on Britney Spears after Instagram knife video
Authorities performed a wellness check on Britney Spears after fans expressed concern over a video of her dancing with knives, a source close to the singer says.

On Monday, Britney Spears posted a video on Instagram of her dancing with two large kitchen knives. In a following video, she appeared to have a bandage on her arm. Britney claimed they weren't real knives although they make a large metal clanging sound when she hit them together.
People were concerned and reported it to the police who performed a wellness check on her today. A source told NBC she's fine and this was overblown. Later Britney posted on Instagram "Lighten up about the knives I’m copying Shakira 🙈 !!!" referencing Shakira's VMA performance. This is the second time this year that people have called the police for a wellness check on her, the last time being back in January after she deleted her Instagram account.
