Even if Taylor is just doing this for the press of it all, I’m glad Sophie has someone in her corner.

i’m glad sophie is getting so much support. i know got money was probably pretty good, but i hope this doesn’t drag out too long and blow up her bank account with legal fees. so i’m sure not having to rent a place is very helpful. it’s also funny to see taylor getting revenge after playing the very very long game

Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic 4 bloke) has apparently spent about £400k on his and it’s still dragging on, and that’s with a pretty solid pre-nup - his somewhat combative ex is going to end up owing him money under California rules. If custody is contentious it gets VERY expensive very quickly.

Was very sure that I already lived through this, but maybe that's just me and anything Tay Tay S.

tbh i'm not going to diminish a nice gesture and i wish more women were able to help their friends out like this when there's a crisis.

This is the village/community we all deserve, found family and having the actual means to help one another can be life changing.

100%

when i worked at a women's shelter, the women who were best able to not only get out but move on, were the ones with strong support networks. sometimes they wouldn't even be with us for that long, just for a week or so while their bff helped them get a rental or a spare room sorted.

There was a recent article (can’t remember where it was published but I’m sure I can find it) that focused on divorced or separated women living together in a home splitting costs, etc and raising their kids all together and that they found joy in that. Of course it got roasted by men’s rights activists who bitch about “fatherless” families but once again, they’re not looking inward as to why so many men are continually awful partners when it comes to raising their own children.
