Given how long I've been hearing about this movie and the book and how it's being dumped in February and how the book has now been pushed back YEARS at this point, I think this shit is gonna massively flop. Also everyone predicted already that Elly Conway was actually Matthew Vaughn for years now LMAO. Random House's website couldn't even decide between various pages how "her" name was spelled given she was supposedly going to be a breakout star given the initial marketing.

(I think the book people picked up way more than the movie people that this was some weird tie-in thing because the publisher being weird really made it obvious.)

I assume the book is just whatever she is writing in the movie given the plot.

But it's been obvious for ages now that the book was just marketing material for the $200 million (well, Apple bought the rights for $200 million) movie.
