look I know Chris Pine is technically old enough to be a father of a teen, but something doesn't sit right with me him being cast to voice an old dad character

He's not the dad. Honestly, it says something about the lack of distinct character design between the unrelated queen and Asha that more than one person thinks he is.

Disney’s 100 years marketing campaign is seriously flopping, I’ve not seen much about it at all, it’s already September and it could’ve been a great big campaign. Probably because their recent movies have been mostly crappy.

Even with the SAG strike, it's super weak. The only thing I"ve found is like 7 weeks commemorating Frozen 1's 10th anniversary and that was by accident.

I've just seen it slapped on some really uninspiring stuff. The biggest one I noticed was the Charlotte Tilbury and that was... her existing products in existing shades with Tinkerbell on the packaging. Totally phoned in

Rly don't love the style. The animation is fine in and of itself, but the rendering is so flat. I like more stylized 3d animation, but this feels like it doesn't commit to either that or just the standard disney 3d look.

Story looks alright.
