i might have to check this out then. i was looking at some stuff a while ago about how miucca prada was salty about fashion in this era becoming more about the supermodels as personalities/public figures than the clothes so she pushed to have the same blandest looking waifs on the runway so the focus would go back to the clothes/designers smh

I remember watching a Burberry show a few years ago and noticed one model who was a bit curvier and I kept paying attention more to that than the whole outfit. So in some ways I wasn't surprised when they went for these super skinny girls cause they don't have much to show off other than a pretty face and nice walk, the clothes will stand out more.

that is wild to be because there are definitely body shapes that make certain clothes look better by filling out the shape of the garment more. idk how to word it that doesn't body shame anyone but sometimes a bigger woman just makes the garment look better.
