I have adored this man ever since I saw him criticize the lack of effort put into plus size clothing! To have him trying to champion his mentees is lovely. Fuck Weinstein and the producers of Project Runway

Lol Tim not bowing down to Anna Wintour always cracks me up. It’s the main reason he’s been disinvited to the MET Gala lol.

A few months ago I read a book that briefly talked about fit models (actual human beings who are like live mannequins) for jeans. They spend all this time making sure the pattern for the new jeans fits the model well, is flattering, has the correct proportions, etc. before finalizing it for production. But then for all the larger sizes, they just add more fabric which is why they are often unflattering and ill-fitting.

EXACTLY!!!!! You can't just blow up the proportions if they're not proportionate to the larger person's size. But that's exactly what they do because who cares about fat fashion? It's not like majority of the world ISN't 6foot tall skinny white models........ oh wait

I remember reading the contract to audition for American idol season 2, and the part that I'll never forget is it had this long paragraph that basically boiled down to "we reserve the right to publicly humiliate you" (that part I remember specifically) but there was way more than that, it was wild lol
