Tim been putting PR on blast for a while. There's one old interview where he goes IN on Heidi and whoever else was judging at the time.

Yeah, maybe they worked out their issues but to me it seems like he's just a professional on camera and can do the job despite his personal feelings.

I remember he was incensed for most of Gretchen’s season. He was making weekly vlogs about each episode and he kept saying that the judges must be smoking crack because they kept making the worst choices. He was then told by the network or the production company that he couldn’t do the weekly vlogs anymore. But after the season was over, he did multiple interviews where he continued to say the judges were smoking crack and that he couldn’t believe they chose Gretchen as the winner.

I'm surprised he went to to another show with Heidi then, because she has not improved as a judge on Making the Cut either. But maybe the rules behind everything are different there so he is fine with it idk.

He's about stacking his $$$ too, so that probably plays a big part in it.

I might be misremembering this but I think that Making the Cut is specifically set up to reward commercial designers creating on trend/ready to wear looks, which is a more defined objective and criteria than Project Runway's ever changing and nebulous goals.

You'd think I'd remember myself since I have seen every seasonXD
But yeah I think they always make one ready to wear look and a more runway look to show their commercial and their artistic skills basically.
