15% revenue in perpetuity is insane. good for tim for standing up for the contestants to change it retroactively

It's really nice that he was looking out for contestants. We need more people like that.

Tim been putting PR on blast for a while. There's one old interview where he goes IN on Heidi and whoever else was judging at the time.

Oh wow I missed this! What did he say about Heidi and the other judges?

In short, they were unqualified and biased. He said something like Heidi was tacky and ruined the integrity of the show. Isaac Mizrahi and Zac Posen are actual bad people and everyone on the panel is an asshole. He also talked about producers having a heavy hand on who wins and not understanding why certain people won.

Not one bit of this surprises me, it’s why I stopped watching years ago. But, I’m glad he’s speaking out. A true mentor!

Weinstein company asked Jay to sign after he won stipulated that any money he made from that point on, 15% would go to Miramax.

bravo makes real housewives agree to similar terms if they film anything to promote a product or service that would be featured on the show...which is so predatory. 15% in perpetuity is ridiculous

Tim said the 15% was for any and all money that Jay made in the future whether it was his clothing designs, teaching classes, etc.

That is absolutely ridiculous. no wonder Jay turned it down and good for Tim for getting that changed

Just wanted to clarify that the 15% for Real Housewives to promote their products is a lot too. I just think it’s extra shitty that from what Tim said, it sounds like the 15% they wanted to take from Jay wasn’t limited to one specific product which is really insidious. I can’t imagine knowing that no matter what I did for the rest of my life, I had to give a portion of it to a company because I spent a few weeks on a reality show.

He seems like such a good man, good for him for standing up against Weinstein
(I hope ONTD is not going to ruin him for me by telling me some awful facts I didn't know 😅 )

I haven't watched Project Runway in years, but I have really fond memories of watching it with my mom
