Oh, I understand I think where you're trying come from. Hope my comment didn't come across as an attack, just wanted to add my two cents because I've been thinking a lot about that poor woman who was attacked with a brick and my own experience where I was lucky not to be attacked.

I definitely think there are red flags (Elon's existence lmao) you cannot ignore and it def says something about you when you're dating men who are known menaces (Taylor Swift and Matt Healy as an example). I think there's also something to be said for how us women are raised to believe we can "change" men or that "he won't do it to me". It's a very nuanced conversation to have, but that's also a very long one haha.

No, I’m not. My reply is a spoof on all the "you should’ve picked someone better" comments I got when I was in an abusive relationship bc people love to blame women for men's behavior. The only way to make sure you never pick a bad man is to not date them at all bc most assholes don’t immediately show their true colors. Obviously the real solution to the problem is for these men to stop being assholes and stop being enabled by society.
