The first Aquaman was cool, I'll watch this one because I like Aquaman, but it already looks like a CGI fest which I thought were not the best parts of the first movie.

I get that none of the cast can promote this, but I also feel like they are probably happy to quietly get rid of this Snyderverse film, assuming James Gunn ever plans to reboot this universe instead of just tweeting

tbh it is easier for them to drop a handful of trailers and promo 2 months before hand and just shove it out than to pay the stars to fly out and promo it, even if there wasn't a strike. I think they know a ROI will be an uphill battle.

I wish they'd stop going the Marvel route and just stick with stand-alone films that may or may not feature cross-over character cameos like what they did with Captain Boomerang in Birds of Prey. (Obligatory: His death was so dumb. He was the funnest male characters of the first Suicide Squad movie and they should've kept him. His friendship with Harley was cute).

Peacemaker also had the right idea with the cameos that showed up at the end with the implication that timing is everything; it doesn't matter how powerful you are if you're not there when it matters.
