I agree with this. I wanted Laurence to win all seasons but I wasn't as much into each piece of the collection as I would have liked. Whereas for me, Brit came out of left field. There were a few things I thought were innovative during the course of the whole show but not necessarily anything I was dying to wear whereas during that runway show, I just thought wow... so many pieces I love! Bishme seems like a lovely person and I can see where people are coming from enjoying his clothes but it's nothing I would consider wearing.
The fact that they were clearly biased against designers from older seasons still pisses me off.
Also I wonder what would have happened if they brought back Dmitry for another go LMAO. Or has winning 3 times put him in the Project Runway hall of fame?

I felt that too. For instance both times when Prajjé was saved over Korto and Kara Saun respectively. I agree that each time those were the right looks for the bottom but also each time, in my personal opinion, Prajjé should have left.
To be honest, I was not expecting a lot from Brittany's final runway. She has done a lot of very basic/boring sportswear stuff during this season. I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't totally bored by her collection. I think using that big bold black and white print really elevated those two looks. And as Nina pointed out, the styling really helped too. I also appreciated that Nina said there's nothing wrong with ready to wear because in past seasons, it felt like the judges really wanted haute couture and looked down on the collections that looked more ready to wear/commercial.

I felt Laurence maybe had the most unique pieces but there was a few duds.
