wrestling has never been as spicy as it has been in the last two years. remember when cody coming back to WWE was the most insane thing happening??? no writer could've come up with the shit that has happened since 2021, my god.

anyway, it's about time CM Punk had some consequences for his actions. the man can just never get that chip off his shoulder despite being one of the most popular wrestlers of all time and being that big age. the man needs therapy stat.

can't stand CM Punk for all the obvious reasons (whiny manchild, difficult to work with, problematic heaux, etc.) but another reason I don't like him is it's his fault we don't have AEW Dark/Elevation anymore. They got rid of those two to form the CM Punk Show Collision. I miss AEW Dark and Elevation so much. It was a great way to see talent that didn't feature as much in Dynamite or Rampage. Plus it was like hearing wrestling's Statler and Waldorf/Bert and Ernie do a podcast on commentary. They're both on Dynamite and sometimes Rampage but it's not the same with other commentators there because they can't bounce off each other as much. :(

I miss Dark too!! Pandemic era Dark was the best comfort watch, and even better because it embraced YouTube as a medium for free-to-watch, non-paywalled wrestling. I guess it was always going to be a niche product in the end, writing was probably on the wall once Tony bought ROH.

CM Punk did something that should have gotten him fired before and TK did nothing, let him come back and like gave him his own show, it's so fucking wild. I seriously hope that the only reason he wasn't fired this time was because it was TK himself he apparently lunged at bc that just means TK was such a mark he didn't care about the unhinged behavior until it was directed towards him and that's pathetic.

I was the biggest CM Punk fan back in the day. I remember when he had a LiveJournal and regularly updated it. I was so happy when he came to AEW and for a little while, he seemed to be in a better place and to be genuinely enjoying wrestling again. But, Punk is gonna Punk eventually and I'm glad he's finally gone. If only half of the rumors are true, he should have been gone months ago.

I hate CM Punk so good riddance imo, he seems like a deeply unpleasant toxic person. Hopefully this will make Collision more fun.
