Once you factor in the costs of production, travel costs, and all of the people that need to be paid (dancers, musicians, roadies, etc) I could very easily see how this didn't make any money.

There's no way I could do something like that and see no return on investment. I would've quit halfway through but I guess that's how you get sued idk.

I feel like touring is really only worth it for more established artists, at this point Miley was only a few albums in and the Bangerz era really turned off a lot of the fans she had from her Hannah Montana days. If she toured now it would probably be a lot more successful.
