I'm going to see They Live on Sunday, because what better than to watch a movie that came out when I was an infant in theaters LOL.

One of my all time favorite movies! Very quotable and has the best fight scene in the entire history of cinema!

I'm still annoyed far-right assholes have co-opted it for their own interests, though. It's like they willfully ignored what the movie is about.

That's usually how it goes with them. They miss the point entirely and think it goes with what they believe in. If they were twice as smart, they'd be idiots.

All Fun & Games looks like my sort of semi-trashy horror. Asa Butterfield is a good comedy actor so it'll be interesting to see how he deals with scary stuff.

Tomorrow night I'm taking a friend to see Talk To Me because he's not seen it yet - I went a couple of weeks ago when I was super high and it was amazing lol.

And Saturday our local cinemas are all showing Jurassic Park for Cinema Day (and its 30th birthday this year) so my friend and I are going and I am SO EXCITED. I was just a touch too young for the big screen when it came out originally but it's one of my favourite films and I'll probably cry when they see the brontosaurus for the first time :')

I'm gonna watch a trashy gay horror film from the 90s with Parker Posey. It's rather unknown and the clips of it uploaded onto YT a million years ago have full on [Spoiler (click to open)]cock in it. I'm no narc tho, I won't be reporting it to YT lol.

I love Aussie horror, so Beaten to Death looks really good. And I love Simon Pegg, Mannie Driver and Christopher Lloyd, so I'm fucking ready for Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose!

i've watched a lot of movies this week and it's a weird mix: past lives, barbie for the second time, joy ride, and all three narnia movies. i don't think i'd ever seen the third one before, but i did not expect a baby will poulter to show up in that lmao. i hadn't seen the first two in a looong time and there's still something magical and nostalgic about them. partway through i wondered when it would get the inevitable reboot as a series treatment... then realized i had forgotten the greta gerwig news fast!

i realized broker hit netflix here and that's one i meant to get to but never did, so i might check it out.

Can’t stand Asa Butterface. He’s the worst part of sex education for me
