i really like barry as an actor (i hope he's getting the help he needs :/) but i'm reserving judgement until it's out

he's just been through a lot in life and (i'm doing gross speculation here) he's had some trouble with drunk and disorderly stuff, so my brain puts things together. but he has a kid and a partner now, so hopefully that's grounding him in a good way

ahhh yes thank you. i defo knew about it his backstory as i related to it but yeah id read about his…well incidents and also worried about him. just thought something recent had happened. i agree i hope he is getting help and support either way cos a past like that does a lot to a person.

Speaking of Mr. Ripley....I watched Purple Noon (the OG Mr Ripley) not long ago and Jesus christ....Matt Damon couldn't compete with this:

Just watched that for the first time last month... he was so hot! I think the plot makes more sense in the Matt Damon version tbh.

Also, what's up with the posters that feature the same guy in the same basic pose smoking? Is this a movie about smoking? Is this secretly a sequel to Thank You for Smoking?
