This is very Fincher 101, I can't say it doesn't look good. Fassbender is giving nothing though? Hiring a POS, for what? Where's the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo sequel? Mindhunter S3?

Both do have Alain Delon, but the 2 movies are unrelated....

Melville (like Wong Kar-wai, Tim Burton, etc) just used the same actors over and over again in his movies and made his own little MCU (Melville Cinematic Universe).

I wish Fincher would change his color palette. I know his movies have ~a look....but I can't handle anymore piss color filters. Not when I know he can do this:

I completely agree about his overuse of ugly filters. We get it Dave, your films are dark and moody. And he peaked very early with Express Yourself.

Apparently the stories of hitmen are the only ones worth telling. I love Fincher and I'll probably watch it eventually since it's streaming but I won't see it in the theater.
