time does heal a bit for that immediate gut wrenching pain but I've found the most death anniversaries that go by, it's sadder because there's SO much that the person is missing out and that I can't share and experience with them :(

Yeah. It's that they'll never see you grow or get a new job or move somewhere or when you settle down (with/out partner idc)

My dad died when I was 25. It's been 15yr and I still can't talk about it. I'm tearing up now just writing this

And he was a terrible father!! But I loved him so fiercely. And now I'm crying: sigh
