I have only seen the first season of this show and checked out the summary of the finale out of curiosity and I'm still wondering how it can be the same show
Season 1 was a teen drama with a veronica mars style mystery, HOW did it came to that?

Something that jumped out at me: Betty didn’t remember that she was in a polycule until those two strange-looking men in the scene with her told her.

Obviously I don’t know the full context but I was immediately a bit grossed out by potential weird consent stuff. Like is the shock value worth it?
