Sad for Prajje, he's an amazing designer and the first half of his looks this season were great. It seems really clear that the designs struggle in this competition and it isn't good for their creativity or their mental health, you can feel how exhausted they are. I would love a design competition that actually treated the contestants well with more time to make things so they could do their best.
I hate how stressed they are during the one day challenges. It's a ridiculously short timeframe to design, create, and fit an entire ensemble in one day.
Def, you can feel the stress coming off them, and tbh even the two day challenges are a push - if something doesn't look right there's never any time to adjust it, they're just fucked. Personally I've not found that creativity is best under pressure, as much as the industry and fashion schools wanna push that narrative. A bit of space to breath is so important
I love my girl Laurence but that look should've sent her home, it was just not working. Nina can complain all she wants about Prajjés but it was a better and more complete look.
Brittani was really safe and while not all shiny wide pants are obviously the same, Kortos from the week before were better.
Loved Ramis take on bringing bridal elements into his look for the softness and it really was something innovative from him, he maybe should consider going into mens fashion a bit more and then come back to women with some new ideas.
Bishmes look was amazing too, loved the colour and the flair with the hat, I get that the judges weren't competely sold on the hat but a) as they said the hat can be just a runway moment if need be and b) if Bishme could've had a hat custom made for this with more time and all I think it would've been met with only praise.
