I'm so sick of these forced apologies. They don't mean a fucking word of it, but just doing it cuz they were called out.
"My comments were insensitive, they don't reflect who I am, I have respect for all people..."
No, the fuck you DON'T. You said it and you fucking meant it. You weren't prompted or asked a confusing question, you chose to say this and now apologize because of backlash.
In the middle of a concert when he really should have had better things to do? Like anybody in the audience had any interest in hearing him spout off on the topic?
It's weird to me how these transphobes so quickly allow it to consume all else. It's just constantly top of their minds.
there was an article about endometriosis that did the rounds recently and of course transphobes lost their minds about inclusive language rather than talking about...y'know...endometriosis, which legit ruins lives, is under-researched, trivialised, dismissed, not understood...lets scream instead about how they said "people with endometriosis", because that DEFINITELY helps women. it rots the brain. it fully and completely rots the brain.
(and also, fun fact...it is rare, but cis men can also suffer from it. so there you fucking go.)
I follow a cishet woman on Twitter (I refuse to call it X) who is pretty outspoken about being trans-supportive and has a large enough following to have attracted the demons. She spoke about having had a transvaginal ultrasound, and for several weeks now they've been calling her a man.... wait for it...
Because they assumed "transvaginal" refers to a neo vagina on a trans woman. They cannot even see the suffix "trans" any more without popping off.
They have been corrected several times from multiple quarters, both on the procedure and the fact that she went for problems that occur exclusively in people with a uterus and ovaries, but nope. They keep going. But they claim they can always tell a cis woman from a trans woman.
JFC, the ignorance is astounding, as is the stubborn refusal to accept being wrong. Obviously they know more than, you know, medical professionals who use this equipment on a daily basis.
