I've never had "real" boba.
I've had Rico Bubble Milk Tea Drink in a can & some kind of bubble tea from Joyba in a plastic cup, got both from Wal-Mart & didn't like either one.
I don't know if the "real" stuff is better, but I'm in no hurry to find out.

omg nooo that canned shit is nasty. its worse than the worst boba ive had from actual boba shops. ive never tried the joyba one youre talking about cuz i kinda now refuse to drink the canned/premade stuff and that version looks sickeningly sweet.

if youre getting asian drinks in cans, dont get the boba stuff. you can get the canned coffee, soymilk, grass jelly drinks etc that have been around for decades but dont get the newer boba drinks. i dont think ive met anyone who likes real boba who actually likes the canned stuff.
