I just made the post because I have just finished season 2 and the ending crushed me… THERE BETTER BE A SEASON 3!!!

I didn’t like that they re-used some of the actor from season 1 for other roles, it confused me in the beginning

Neil has said if Netflix Amazon does not renew Godd Omens then he will find another medium for getting S3 out to fans (I would guess something like a novel + full cast audio drama - he has done a number of these with Audible, including for Good Omens).

I despaired a little when he mentioned doing an ending in another format if the series isn't renewed, but an audio drama might actually work really well. Much as I love the original novel, the series is its own thing and it wouldn't be as satisfying to have an ending to it without David and Michael involved, even if just in voice form.

I have faith that Michael and David would also YouTube us some scenes of them making out because they are good people.

I watched both seasons for the first time last week when I was laid up with a bad back and I'm fully obsessed. I NEED a season 3, I'll take it in any format. The ending of season 2 destroyed me 😭

I haven't watched this show (yet) but I wish more shows would just have a set start and ending. I mean obviously not all but I think it works so much better when they have an ending in mind instead of trying to stretch it out for years and years.

This is how I feel about Firefly. I hate Joss Whedon but I loved that show and as much as I wanted more eps I know he would’ve ruined it eventually.

Yeah, weren't plans for the rest of it released and Inara was going to be r*ped or something?! Ugh, Joss.

It's honestly shocking that this is the same man we thought of as a feminist icon in the 90s/early 2000s.

no surprise there. s3 is supposed to cover the sequel he had planned with terry pratchett. he's not going to go beyond that.

I love that Neil is so respectful of Terry. He never fails to acknowledge him as co-writer and always talks about their shared vision, rather than just taking over himself now Terry's gone.
