I used to watch this with my mom when I was a kid! So when I saw Dan Byrd in A Cinderella Story and Lorraine Toussaint in Orange is the New Black, I was like, "hey, they were in Any Day Now."

I watched this as a kid and reading the post has made me go, “huh, I watched a lot of grown up type of shows as a kid”.

What was even the draw for me? lol.

I loved adult shows as a kid. I think with a lot of the kid programming being mature (Batman, Gargoyles) i always sought out mature content
