I think a lot of people truly do not think nepotism applies to anything besides like, glamorous or prestigious jobs (I would argue that being a stylist IS glamorous, but it doesn’t incur fame so idk maybe others don’t agree) but like… if your dad is a dentist and you get a job working the front desk at his practice, that’s still nepotism even if you’re making minimum wage

Especially when that experience on your resume, even absent any connections or favors, gives you an advantage climbing your career ladder.

Having any stylist experience, especially working for a famous actor, especially during a highly visible, popular, and busy time in their career, is a huge advantage over peers/competitors.
