I love this song and went into a deep dive on de selby… I love how he uses literary references in so many songs! I love it when art has conversations with each other.

....I ended up down a rabbithole earlier today looking up Divine Comedy fanfiction, and found a crossover with the Bible that was like Judas/Satan with 'canon-typical vore' and 'hurt-comfort' presumably set in Dante's vision of hell, that the author got inspiration for while listening to Hozier, and having never heard of Hozier, I had to Google and I didn't know what I expected for the creator of music that inspired Judas/Satan vore hurt/comfort, but I don't think it was this guy.
