It was probably actually a relief to marry a full celeb who can control the narratives online, because his last wife who came with him to LA got so much shit. There were sites devoted to stalking them

My pet theory (as a fan) is that they are perfect for each other, because Heidi comes with kids, who will always be as important to her as a romantic relationship, and Tom comes with Bill, who basically occupies the same role. ALLEGEDLY Bill was a big issue in Tom's first marriage, but I think Heidi understands how important he is to Tom. I think it's cute that they celebrate all holidays as Heidi, Tom, Bill, and the kids.
