Anyone who has read JVN's memoir knows how much they love Kelly Clarkson. They name dropped Kelly and her album Breakaway multiple times throughtout the book. The Queer Eye star attended the current Las Vegas residency of Kelly Clarkson. Kelly took a cue from the Adele las vegas show and spends one song walking

Lol I came in to say the same thing!! Cute moment!!

It's really crazy how the las vegas residencies really grew after Britney's run. Prior to that celebs avoided those residences cause they were associated with "has-beens".

Although some people like Bruno Mars jumped on board about doing even before Britney....oh wait Bruno and Britney debuted their residencies within 2 days of each other in Dec 2013 :O!! SO even Bruno was ahead of the game too!!

I love residencies, a quick trip to Vegas to see your fave is such a fun idea to me. especially because I get anxious about big giant stadiums but with the residences the theater is just in your hotel lol so you don't have to worry about parking or crowds etc.

Bruno debuted on the Dec. 29th and Britney on Dec.27th!!

I remember hearing about Bruno doing it too and was like "??? it's a bit early in his career" but clearly he saw the potential cause he's done 3 more since!!

It's def a lot easier on the artist compared to the grueling schedule of touring.

I think it is a safer option for their mental health? They have a screaming audience high and then go *home*. They don't go back to an empty hotel room and try to come down off that rush.
