I bet they did. Most unions crack down hard on members because the need to keep a united public image. If you have issues with other people in the union, criticize methods publicly, have talks with outside members about meeting information, or put the union in a bad might .. good luck. I've seen it happen and heard shit. I've also seen unions save someone's ass legally and use it to send a message like "don't pull that shit again with us or we're feeding you to the wolves next time."
