While I totally agree that Brittany's top looked exactly like the one Prajjé made for the 90s challenge, someone needs to remind him that he didn't invent that top either. If he's going to get mad that she made that top, then there are a bunch of people who made that top years ago who could also be mad that he copied it before she did. I just looked on amazon and there are a bunch of different vendors selling the exact same top. The listing I clicked on said it's been available on amazon since 2020.
The two minutes of drama about Brittany plagiarizing his look reminded me of when I was on the high school dance team. We all had to choreograph dances and one girl got mad that someone else included a center split on the floor because she had one in her dance and she felt the other girl was copying her. I was like girl, please, you didn't invent that so calm down there.

I can't believe that they made the poor models do that runway show in the rain. They must have been freezing with all that wind and rain!
You could clearly see the hierarchy though. Production clamped umbrellas to the judges' chairs, the designers were sitting out in the rain with their hoods pulled over their heads, and the models were walking in the rain with their skirts and capes whipping around in the wind.
What really confused me was the lighting set up. Great that they set up some lights so it wasn't pitch dark for the show, but all of the lights were set up at the back of the runway so the models were backlit and the judges couldn't see any details. Those lights were pointing straight at the judges, hence why they were all wearing their sunglasses at night.
And after all that, they all went back to the set for the judges' critiques! Why did they make everyone endure the rain and cold when they had the option to go back to the studio? I'm guessing there was money exchanged and they would have been in breach of contract if ( ... )

And as you said, there was probably some contract signed to do the show in that park.

What was the point of having Christian sit with the judges for the show, then not the critique?
Anyways.

Kara Saun's dress was pretty but all I could see was the feathery cape. It looked like something Ric Flair would have worn during his heyday. I have loved her since S1 but it's so hard to root for someone who makes something like that and refuses to listen when Christian suggests toning it down a little.
I totally understand that eliminations are based on what was made for this week's runway but now that we're getting closer to the end, I ask who do I want to see more from? Who do I want a whole collection from? Of everyone who is left, Brittany is at the bottom of that list. She is starting to seem like a one way pony but not in an interesting way. Laurence also has a bit of a one way pony vibe but in a much more interesting way. I know she's always going to make something with leather (probably in a very dark color) that's very fitted and with a jacket but it will be elevated, interesting, sleek, sexy, and flattering.
I fear Brittany's turn to activewear has narrowed her focus too much. There is nothing wrong with designing fun, ( ... )
