Not sure about the older one, she's very wooden in the trailer but the lead is pretty charismatic at least.

I just realized how crazy it is that Adam Sandler outlasted everyone from snl. Billy Madison came out in 95. Has there ever really been a lull in his career?

he's had his flops in the late 2000s and early 2010s, like Jack and Jill, You Don't Mess With the Zohan, and Pixels. but since he partnered with Netflix his bad movies are forgotten really fast, BUT he has this whole other aspect of his career that people grabbed onto when Uncut Gems hit. it's an enviable position to be in if you're an actor tbh

But yah, he really hasn’t had a long break since he started.

He also has his own production company, which helps. Peppering in some serious roles like the user above said I think gave him cred to keep silly movies too. Tbf though Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, Will Ferrell and Eddie Murphy all come to mind for me too as people who have lasting successes past SNL. I guess Steve Martin too.

No thanks. It just takes me right out knowing an actor's kids are also in something. I can't even watch new Justified knowing his daughter is in it.

Adam Sandler movies are basically him hiring his friends so it makes sense that he’ll do the same for his daughters. The movie looks cute
