I thought this was the weakest episode in the entire series. I’m not invested in Detective Danner as a character and I know so much of that attributes to Tiffany Haddish as a person but idc.
I did like hearing Adina Howard’s Freak Like Me though. I love that song and this is the first time I’ve heard it used in a movie or series.
I agree that this was the weakest episode, partially because it had so little connection to the actual case and partially because I don't really care about Danner as a character. But A+ for Adina Howard and Silk!
My guess since the first episode is that it’s his sister. I even called the love triangle. What are your theories? I did get season 1’s culprit pretty quickly too
This episode was pretty boring. I was hoping for John Cho’s western episode as I imagine that’s what we will get from him

Same. And it didn’t move the season’s plot forward in any meaningful way. Felt lazy like a clip show episode.
Like, we get it: Haddish’s star persona is horny. It read like her personal wish to objectify and touch Michael Ealy’s titties.

I'm waiting for a followup on the Wes Anderson episode plot...

This is one of the many reasons I could never be an actor! I was cracking up at half the stuff he said.
