Maybe she realized she got Grant Hughes and not Hugh Grant

Doesn't Hugh Grant have several kids born within a year of each other to entirely different women? I wouldn't call him a catch either, at least not without effective birth control and a pre-nup that specifies I get everything in the event of him cheating on me. Fuck around and pay me!

Most of his kids are with two women. He's got a little polygamy thing going on I guess.

I hope that's what's going on, given two of his kids with the different women were born just months apart.

It feels weird that people are bringing up her previous marriage in order to make it seem like she runs through marriages like Jana Kramer or something. The two were nearly 20 years apart. It’s sad because she clearly took her time before deciding to marry again, and then this is what happens. It feels increasingly rare that people who get married stay together all of their lives (which is sad) so I don’t think we should view it as a reflection on people’s characters.

That said, it seems really sudden and unexpected so I wonder what happened…

staying together all of their lives doesn't mean it's a good marriage lol. people (especially women) just have more options and freedom to leave. I'm glad.

it's less about the length of time between the marriages but the fact that they both only lasted about a year that ppl are getting at

So? The first one ended because her ex husband cheated on her. It feels mean spirited to hold that as a mark against her in any kind of way. If anything, it’s a great thing she found out and got out as early as she did.

We don’t know what happened in this instance, but it could very well be a similar situation for all we know. She was gushing about him on the Drama Queens podcast very recently, and even that anniversary post wasn’t that long ago. Makes it seem like something big happened.

Some people should just give up on marriage. You can also just stay in a relationship

lol that anniversary post. people are so fake on social media. the happier their posts, the more miserable they actually are, i s2g.

that's what i'm nosey about - was it all fake, or was it seemingly the perfect marriage and then she found out shit and noped right out of there. If it's the latter, goodforher.gif

I feel like it is the latter because she's been really vocal on the Drama Queens podcast that she has 0 tolerance for her trust being betrayed. It seems like a very black and white area for her, so I'm guessing shit went down and she filed ASAP.
