That's very fucking cool!!

And the studios wanna talk, which is great - I don't think the strike is going quite the way they hoped. I really hope the WGA and SAG can get decent deals out of this!!

I don't think it's going their way either. A lot of folks are rethinking their streaming subscriptions because seriously, if the talent isn't getting paid who is getting the money? A lot of celebs opening up on just how much streaming screws them over opened a lot of people's eyes.

“ rethinking their streaming subscriptions because seriously, if the talent isn't getting paid who is getting the money?”

That’s it! That plus the quote about waiting for people to lose their homes is YIKES. The studios were hoping people would be upset not getting more content. I’m always happy when a corporation is losing.

Plus we have so much content to watch already! There are so many shows I haven’t watched yet so I honestly don’t care if we don’t get new content for a while. Like you, I revel in the fact that the suits aren’t winning.

my opinion on Seth has changed so much since The Orville, I'm almost kind of mad at him for spending so much of his career doing crude humor when he has that writing ability in him.

and not surprised he did this -- the way he protected his cast and crew on The Orville while filming during the pandemic speaks volumes about how he feels about the people who work in the industry. I loved that he insisted on scoring the show with a full live orchestra.

This is really nice. Julia Roberts in particular came from nothing and most people starting low remember what that's like.
